Hi, I’m Sacha.

I began practicing yoga over 18 years ago, not knowing then how deeply it would shape my life.

Certified Yoga Therapist - C-IAYT

My Journey

After completing my Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, I began offering private sessions. Working one-to-one with people showed me how important it is to move beyond a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Every body is different. Every nervous system is different. Every story is different.

I saw how powerful it can be when movement and breath are adapted to the individual — and how much safer and more effective that feels. This realization led me to pursue deeper therapeutic training.

In 2020, I began my Yoga Therapy training at the Yoga Therapy Institute and became a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). Today, alongside my private practice, I serve as a mentor with the institute, supporting students as they grow in their own therapeutic work.

In 2022, I completed the 300-hour Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) certification through the Center for Trauma & Embodiment at JRI and became a certified TCTSY Facilitator.

I have facilitated Trauma-Sensitive Yoga within the Operational Stress Recovery Program (OSRP), a 20-day residential PTSD education and treatment program for Military Veterans and RCMP members. In addition to facilitating the groups, I joined the OSRP team as the Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Therapist, where I integrated therapeutic yoga within an interdisciplinary treatment environment.

My work also extends into the community through the Pregnancy Outreach Program, where I offer Yoga Therapy within a peer support group for mothers and babies experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, creating space for connection, regulation, and support during early motherhood.

How I Work

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in respect.

I don’t believe healing happens through pushing or forcing. I believe it happens when we create space — space to breathe, to notice, to strengthen gradually, and to reconnect with what feels steady and supportive.

Whether you’re navigating chronic pain, stress, trauma, or simply wanting to feel more at ease in your body, my intention is to meet you exactly where you are.

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need flexibility.
You just need a starting point.

Let’s Begin

If something here resonates with you, I would love to connect.
Feel free to reach out and we can explore whether working together feels like the right next step.

As I continue my journey, my heart-based mission is to encourage anyone, regardless of age, size or accessibility— to embrace yoga and yoga therapy. I look forward to meeting you wherever you find yourself in your journey to healing and wellness.
